For A Limited Time: Indonesia Flores, Courtesy Of Peet’s Roasting

coffee

Flores is an island 200 miles east of Bali that features numerous volcanoes, which produce ashes that create soil perfect for coffee to thrive in.

In 2005, the Indonesian Coffee & Cocoa Research Institute set out to work with small farmer groups to improve coffee quality and shorten the marketing chain from farmer to supplier.

The result is that Peet’s is now able to offer a special roast of Indonesia Flores. This coffee features a nice ripe fruitiness with an earthy aftertaste, similar to Indonesian coffees.

Peet’s is offering Indonesia Flores on two roast dates only, January 21 and January 28, so order online here or call 800.999.2132. (Indonesia Flores is also available in a sampler here.)
