Coffee Company

Coffee companies have become big business in the past decade as the popularity of coffee and coffee drinks reached epic proportions. There are many different types of coffee companies, each offering a different product or level of service than the other and each a necessary part of the coffee phenomena.

The foundation of any cup of coffee begins with the coffee bean, which is grown on coffee plantations. This is a type of coffee company and the place where it all starts. The coffee plantation grows, harvests, and often roasts the coffee beans. If they do not roast them at the plantation they send them to another type of coffee company, the roaster.

The coffee roaster prepares the beans by roasting them to various levels of darkness. The roasting process plays a large role in the flavor of the coffee. When the roasters are finished with the beans they are sent to their next destination in the coffee chain, the packaging companies.

The packaging company can be one of several different types of coffee companies. They can be a large manufacturer who packages the beans for sell to gourmet coffee shops and grocery store chains. They can also be a manufacturer who further processes the beans into different grinds of coffee and then packages these for retail sale in supermarkets and retail stores. These coffee beans can also be sent to a manufacturing company that processes them into gourmet-flavored coffee by infusing flavors into them.

Distributors are another type of coffee company that is important in the getting the coffee from the plant to the cup. These companies take the coffee that has been manufactured and distribute it under various brand names. Many times there will be several brand names being distributed by the same company.

Once the distributor gets the coffee to the retailer, the only step remaining to get it to the coffee cup is purchasing and brewing.

This journey from the coffee plant to the coffee cup is not the only examples of coffee companies. A coffee company can also be devoted to delivering coffee and coffee supplies to businesses. These companies typically offer various types of commercial coffee makers that can be leased as well as coffee and break room supplies. These delivery companies typically follow a schedule to keep the supplies stocked and prevent businesses from having to order supplies themselves.

Finally, there are coffee companies that offer coffee supplies and specialty coffee makers to the home coffee drinkers. The Internet is filled with various coffee clubs and gourmet specialty shops featuring specialty coffees. Some of these are memberships that have monthly deliveries while others offer discounted prices without a membership.

All of these businesses are examples of businesses that fall into the category of coffee company. Every aspect of coffee from growing it to having it delivered on a regular basis are possible lucrative businesses that are involved in the first thing many people see every morning, their coffee cup.
